Tony Hawk's main point is to show the audience to fight for their dreams, even if people think it is wrong or stupid you should fight for those. He also says that people should do what they like and if they feel comfortable doing something, they should continue doing it. He relates the story of what happened to him, he wanted to be a skater and even tho his teacher said that he would never be successful, he did not listen to his comments,he did not listen to bad comments, and he make money doing what makes him happy.I personally liked his essay because it is inspirational, he did not give up, so it gave me a lesson that I have to do what makes me happy, and there will be people that will judge you but it is your decision if you want to be successful.
